Arrows made by Hu lei

Hu Lei, born in 1987, has harbored a deep passion for traditional archery culture since childhood. After graduating from university in 2008, he decided to enroll in the school of the Beijing-based inheritor of intangible cultural heritage, Yang Fuxi, and embarked on a systematic path of study and practice in traditional archery craftsmanship. After four years of dedicated study, Hu Lei returned to his hometown in 2012 to establish a traditional archery workshop. He applied the skills he had learned in practice. The workshop focused on traditional arrow production. He was particularly skilled in crafting traditional combat arrows and traditional hunting arrows. Each arrowhead was meticulously hand-forged and polished, striving to recreate the essence of ancient arrows. For over a decade, Hu Lei has been deeply involved in the field of traditional arrow restoration, successfully recreating over 200 ancient arrow designs. He strives to closely replicate the forms, details, and practical functions of ancient arrows. His creations are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. His meticulous work has not only gained widespread recognition from traditional archery enthusiasts in China but has also won the favor of enthusiasts abroad, making him a significant contributor to the preservation and innovation of traditional arrow culture.
